Planner to get Organized
The first most important way to get organized is to get a planner. There are so many choices when it comes to planners; paper or digital and the styles are endless. We’ve used all of them and we love a variety of platforms.
Paper: Our best selection for paper calendar and planners are by Erin Condren. It comes in a beautiful sliding box wrapped in matching tissue paper. You feel so special just receiving this package! Their coiled life planner is the best seller. You can customize everything from the color of the coil to the cover and style of the pages. You can even purchase stickers to personalize and decorate your planner pages. Make sure you use your Rakuten for cashback!
There are also several options on Amazon. We’ve tried Monthly Planners by Lang or Cambridge Monthly Planners are great as well! This particular Cambridge Planner has clear large numbers and days. Look at the samples to see what items are important to you. Do you want a notes section, do you want weekly inserts or do you want extra blank pages to write miscellaneous notes?
Digital: For a digital option Kaylin has been using the Zinnia App for iPad (free 7-day trial download or $9.99 monthly, or $39.99 for a Yearly subscription). Customizable and user-friendly, they have templates for you to create just about any type of planner your heart desires. You can customize it with color, stickers, etc. Kaylin has an iPad air and Mom has an iPad pro.
The second step is to set-up your goals for the year. Read more about how to set up goals here.
