Wit & Wisdom Jeans at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I snag these pants every year because it’s a great fit for a rectangle shape body. The material has a slight stretch and the length is perfect for the shorter gals. I have it in a few colors and will pick up another pair this year.
The top is a yellow and white gingham print and is the perfect color for summer work outfits. If you haven’t noticed yet, peplum tops are my favorite style for my rectangle shape body. This one is very lightweight, so nude color undergarments are a must. For this years summer wardrobe, I purchased a few halter-style peplum tops. The tie front keyhole gives it a wispy summer look. The material is viscose which tends to wrinkle. Great buy for under $25!
If the top alone looks too casual for work, throw a white jeans jacket on. This is one of my best jean jacket buys and VERY comfortable. Macy’s seems to stock this jacket year-round. I’ve had this one for years and it still looks brand new. Here’s another work casual outfit with the same jacket.
The undergarment that I have on is also a Nordstrom anniversary sale item. I restock on the Bliss Cotton Girl Briefs every year! It comes in several colors but I try to select blushing pink, cafe, rose beige, coal, or black. If these colors are unavailable I purchase any color they have in stock. For those who want cotton but want to have a feminine touch with a little lace, this is a great find!

This pair of earrings was a great purchase because it’s a convertible. You have a small huggie hoop which you can wear alone, it’s 14k gold plated. Or you have a long link in which one side is silver and the other is gold. So, option 2 is to wear the huggie with the gold side and option 3 is to wear the huggie with the silver side. It has such great versatility and it’s awesome for traveling because it’s like bringing 3 pairs of earrings!
