Black Cropped Cardigan Under $15
Cropped Cardigan
This cardigan is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. It comes in three colors that are perfect for Fall. A crop cardigan in black is great for shorter gals, it falls nicely just below the waist. The sleeves are bulkier than the H&M cardigan. I like the low v-cut and lightweight because it’s great for layering and warmer weather. It’s a super deal right now for under $15.
Tank Top
This is a basic scoop neck tank top from summer in a super soft material. Comes in a few colors but this is a staple for your closet. I like this style because the straps are wide enough to wear a regular bra, but not super wide to make you look masculine. It’s slimming but not snug and the length is perfect. I wore it under a cardigan for work, but if you wear it on its own it’s perfect for a casual weekend look. It did shrink some because of the cotton. BR is sold out but the factory still has some in stock for $10.
Pants
I have a few favorite basic black pants from LOFT, Nordstrom, Uniqlo, and Banana Republic Factory. These brands carry a style that suits a rectangle-shaped body. Straighter from your waist through your hips and down to your thighs (they don’t pinch in at your waist). Most of my favorite styles have some stretch to them to make them comfortable. Where ever you decide to purchase from, make sure they are comfortable! Black pants are an essential basic for your closet. This weekend there are great sales!
Sandal
Nude sandals are another basic that everyone needs to have. This is my latest favorite nude sandal. It’s a slip-on sandal so very easy to get in and out, the heel is 3 1/4 ” so perfect height. It comes in 3 colors. Straps are comfortable and a great summer-to-fall transition sandal. Perfect for year-round wear! Got it at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for $70!
Accessories
To level up this outfit I paired it with these glass drop earrings. The middle piece of glass is surrounded by baguette crystals. It’s a step up from plain hoops and gives an elegant look. My sensitive skin has not had any problems with the Kendra Scott Earrings.
This find was $15 and so far has not been a problem for my sensitive skin. It’s listed as 14k gold plated. It comes with both chain link gold necklaces a choker and a longer one with a charm. It comes in 3 different colors gold, rose gold and silver.
